About Our All Weather Resin Wicker

Being one of the first in North America to introduce resin wicker, Jordan Cast and Wicker has developed a product that truly can be called “All Weather Resin Wicker”.
Crafted from High Density Polyethylene resin and woven around a powder coated extruded aluminum frame, Jordan Cast and Wicker has lead the industry in quality, comfort and style.

All materials used in our products are non-recycled virgin resin and virgin aluminum eliminating any foreign byproducts which could hinder with the products durability and longevity. As well, our resin has an added patented UV inhibitor developed in Europe, which stabilizes its color fastness. The color of our resin wicker is uniform throughout even when chipped or splintered.

All of our resin collections are laboratory tested for over 3000 hours of direct sunlight with NO perceived difference in color. Tests are also conducted to ensure that our resin wicker is resilient against pool chlorine and can withstand weather temperatures of -40 to 80 degrees Celsius. Through these tests and quality assurances Jordan Cast and Wicker is able to offer the best warranty in the industry.

Aluminum Furniture

Lightweight and rust-proof makes cast aluminum furniture an attractive alternative to the heavier cast iron exterior pieces. This maintenance-free metal is perfect for outdoor patio furniture that must adapt to extreme summer and winter temperatures.

Jordan Cast and Wickers cast aluminum outdoor patio furniture is surprising strong, yet cool to the touch. To prevent rusting metal frames are sanded, then heated to over 650 degrees. While the metal is still white hot, frames are placed into a chamber where each piece is coated with a fine powder consisting of aluminum and resin particles and paint. Another heating process bonds the powder coating to the metal and cures the finish. The end result is a durable, rust and water proof frame with the flexibility and strength to hold weights of up to several hundred pounds.

Sunbrella Fabrics

Sunbrella fabrics are the result of over 45 years of ongoing research and development. Sunbrella's UV-resistant color pigments are fully blended into its high performance fiber. Sunbrella fabric's strength and color refuses to fade even under the harshest conditions, while retaining the softness of spun cotton.

All Sunbrella’s fabrics are designed to be the most breathable on the market, and will not absorb water as they are designed to air-dry very quickly - usually within a matter of minutes. Chemicals such as chlorine and Bromine will have little to no affect against the colour of durability of Sunbrella fabrics.
Sunbrella fabrics have been tested and proven to prevent up to 98% of the sun's radiation UV protection from passing through the fabric. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends Sunbrella fabrics for shade products such as umbrellas as an aid in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin.
